Richter7 tallies the most Addy Awards
Freelancer wins Best of Show in annual competition
A freelancer won Best of Show and Richter7 earned the highest number of honors in the 2007 Addy Awards, a program of the Utah Advertising Federation.
The awards were presented at a ceremony Saturday. Winners were selected from more than 600 entries and will advance to regionals.
Colin Barrett, a freelancer, won Best of Show for work with the Utah Film Commission titled "The Letterboxers."
The Advertiser of the Year is Jeff Olsen of BOWG.
The Judges' Choice Guerrilla Marketing honor went to R&R Partners Inc. for its "Apres Opera" do-not-disturb signs for the Utah Opera.
Struck Design's Taffy Twist Boxes for Sweet Candy Co. earned the Judges' Choice Design honor.
The Judges' Choice Print award went to Richter7 for its Gina Bachauer posters for the Gina Bachauer Foundation.
Those winning both Gold and Silver Addy awards included:
Richter7: 53, with 12 gold and 41 silver.
BOWG: 24, with three gold and 21 silver.
Love Communications: 16, with two gold and 14 silver.
Struck Design: 15, with eight gold and seven silver.
R&R Partners Inc.: 13, with eight gold and five silver.
Letter23 (Formerly W Communications): Seven, with one gold and six silver.
C&S Creative: Five, with three gold and two silver.
Studeo: Five, with one gold and four silver.
Crowell/Love Partnership: Four, with two gold and two silver.
Utah Film Commission: Two, one gold and one silver.
