Brigham Young University Museum of Art will present a lecture by Paul Anderson, special exhibition curator at the MOA, on Thursday evening from 7-8. Anderson's lecture, "Impressionism at Home and Abroad," will introduce the collection of French and American Barbizon and Impressionist paintings from the Worcester Art Museum, currently on display, and discuss the connections between the exhibition, the MOA's permanent collection and Utah artists, namely the Latter-day Saint art missionaries. The Utah Arts Council announces a call for entries for the DesignArts Utah '07 exhibition. The fifth annual exhibition will feature Utah designers in diverse fields. The exhibit will run from June 15-July 28 at the Rio Gallery, 300 Rio Grande. The deadline for submissions is April 27. For more information call 236-7555.
