College basketball coaches from around the state react to the resignation of Utah's Ray Giacoletti:

"I love that guy and I will miss him terribly. I'm kind of happy for him; he doesn't have to live an unhappy experience because nobody should have to go through what he's gone through." Utah women's coach Elaine Elliott

"I think Ray is a great coach. It's hard to see somebody resign or get fired. As a coach, you know what they're going through ... He's a great coach. He'll be able to coach somewhere else down the road ... It's Utah basketball. People expect you to win, and it's a lot of pressure." BYU women's head coach and former Utah men's assistant Jeff Judkins

When contacted by the Deseret Morning News, BYU 's Dave Rose and Utah State's Stew Morrill had no comment. Weber State's Randy Rahe opted not to comment until he has spoken with Giacoletti.
