The Children's Theatre of Salt Lake, on Wednesday, 5-7 p.m., 638 S. State, for its production of Kevin Henke's "Lilly's Purple Plastic Purse," directed by Jennifer Hohl.
There are roles for a variety of children, ages 7-16, to play Lilly, her classmates and neighbors. Adults are also needed to play her parents and her teacher. Come prepared with a 30-second monologue showcasing your talent for creating a character. All roles are open.
The play opens April 11 for school weekday "field-trip" matinees, with public performances on Fridays and Saturdays, May 4-19. School group performances continue through the end of June (532-6000).
Some roles may be double-cast for performers who cannot play all of the weekday school performances.
