UVSC chief to discuss transition to university

OREM — Utah Valley State College President William Sederburg will speak about university status today at 10 a.m. in the Ragan Theater of the Sorensen Student Center.

Sorensen will address frequently asked questions about university status and identify principles that will guide the institution as it prepares to transition to a university.

On Tuesday, the Legislature passed SB70, which will make UVSC Utah Valley University on July 1, 2008.
