Several of the shooting victims remain hospitalized. At University Hospital, 16-year-old Alan "AJ" Walker was listed in fair condition, as was Stacy Hanson, 53. LDS Hospital officials said Carolyn Tuft, 44, remains in fair condition.
Tuft underwent more surgeries this week, said her brother-in-law, Robert Morgan.
"They took tissue from her thigh to help patch up her back and also worked on wounds in her arm," he said.
Morgan said doctors and the family estimate she is about 10 days away from leaving the hospital. The family has delayed the funeral of her daughter, 15-year-old Kirsten Hinckley, until she can attend it.
Funeral plans for Talovic are also on hold. The family said it is still working with the Bosnian government to get approval to bury him in his homeland.
Shoppers returned Friday to Trolley Square for the reopening of Pottery Barn Kids, one of the last stores to reopen. A manager at the store, where Talovic was killed in a shootout with police, declined a request for an interview.
Several adults and children were inside the store, and throughout the mall it appeared to be business as usual.
