A letter published criticizes Salt Lake City Mayor Rocky Anderson for being anti-LDS (Readers' Forum, Feb. 23). As a resident of Salt Lake City, I have come to know Rocky as anti-pollution, anti-sprawl, anti-homelessness, anti-closed-door government, anti-war, anti-ignorance and anti-lies.
Agree or disagree — and I've done both — he offers positive solutions for every "anti." He helped broker the Salt Lake-LDS Church Main Street deal. He has constructively participated in the massive City Creek development spearheaded by the LDS Church.
We along the Wasatch Front can only hope to elect another such "anti-mayor" this November.
