OREM A rollover accident on I-15 slowed traffic for less than an hour Wednesday morning.
At about 7:20 a.m. a woman driving a small car drifted into an sport-utility vehicle in the outside lane just south of the University Parkway exit in Orem.
The SUV was pushed onto the shoulder of the road, where it flipped and landed upside down. The car also went off the shoulder but did not flip.
The woman in the SUV was able to get herself out of the car and was treated at the scene for minor injuries, said Utah Department of Public Safety spokesman Brian Hyer. The woman was wearing her seat belt.
The driver of the car was taken to Utah Valley Regional Medical Center with minor injuries and quickly released, Hyer said. She was cited for unsafe lane travel.
The outside lane was closed for less than an hour while emergency crews responded and cleared the scene.
