It's a guilty pleasure

(Note to Jonathan Adler: Anyone who uses the tagline, "See you later, decorator," when he's dismissing eliminated contestants has no right to act superior about anything.)

I'm certainly not going to grow any brain cells watching "Top Design." I suppose it's possible I'll pick up some great decorating tips, but that's not the real reason to tune in.

The best part about watching "Top Design" is that my teenage daughter and I do a running commentary on the action, just like we're watching a football game. We applaud, we mock, we cheer, we sneer.

"Top Design" is interactive television.

Frequent airings

New episodes of "Top Design" premiere Wednesdays at 11 p.m. on Bravo. Repeats air throughout the week: Sundays at 5 and 6 p.m.; Mondays at 5 a.m., 10 a.m., 11 a.m. and noon.; Tuesdays at 3:30 a.m.; Wednesdays at 8, 9 and 10 p.m.; Thursdays at midnight, 4, 5 and 10 a.m. and 6, 7 and 8 p.m.; Fridays at 4:30 and 5:30 p.m.' and Saturdays at 5, 6, 7 and 8 p.m.
