SALINA More than $2 million in methamphetamine was seized by Utah Highway Patrol troopers during a traffic stop on I-70.
Troopers said the bust occurred Tuesday when two vehicles were pulled over for improper lane travel. The UHP said the troopers became suspicious about the behavior of the drivers and searched both of the cars.
Inside one vehicle, troopers said they found 24 pounds of methamphetamine inside a clothing bag on the rear seat. There were no drugs in the second car, but the driver was arrested in connection with the case.
The UHP said Michael Garcia, 29, and Javier Bravo, 30, both of Denver, were arrested on investigation of drug charges.
