An educator's specialized session workshop where teachers learn to unlock student's verbal and visual ideas. Learn to develop movable books, with pull-outs and pop-ups.
Instructor: Paul Johnson, England
Place: Book Arts Studio, Marriott Library, level 1

The Rare Books Division of Special Collections celebrates the history of movable books, which includes examples of folds, flaps, peep-holes, pull-tabs, pop-ups and other marvels of paper-engineering.
Place: Marriott Library wall cases, levels 1 and 2
Gallery hours: Monday-Thursday, 7 a.m.-midnight; Friday, 7 a.m.-8 p.m.; Saturday, 9 a.m.-8 p.m.; and Sunday, 10 a.m.-midnight.
