The Ronald McDonald House —Adopt-A-Meal at the Ronald McDonald House. Families and groups needed to provide and prepare a dinner or sack lunch for our hospital-weary families every day. Fully furnished kitchen is available.

Bridges Volunteer Program — Adults tutor children who are struggling with reading, spelling, math and writing in neighborhood schools.

The Arc of Utah — The Arc of Utah would like a volunteer to make a list of media fax numbers. This list will be used for putting out press releases. It is a perfect opportunity for someone who would like to volunteer but cannot leave his or her home.

Volunteers of America — Volunteer office assistants are needed at two locations in Salt Lake City to help with answering the phone, filing and other light clerical duties.

Salt Lake County Aging Legacy Corps — Salt Lake County Aging Services is looking for new volunteers for the Legacy Corps program. Volunteers provide respite care to people in Salt Lake County. Volunteers must commit to one year of service and will receive a yearly stipend of $2,200. Sign up now; the new year starts April 1.

Utah Gardens — Utah GARDENS is looking for youths to help run their PLAY program where fresh food is grown for the needy. The program is run by kids and makes for great leadership opportunities. We also have need of adult advisors. Please call 604-5825 for more details.

Cystic Fibrosis Foundation — Exciting opportunities to volunteer at Great Strides walk for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. The walks will be held in April, May and June in Murray, Ogden, Provo, Stansbury Park and Cedar City. Data entry help also needed in chapter office.

March of Dimes — The March of Dimes Utah Chapter is accepting donations of used or obsolete cell phones. Funds raised from donated phones will aid the March of Dimes' mission to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality.
