Max is a border-collie mix about 1 year old. He knows how to sit and stay. He loves to play and is in kennel 18.

Meko is a domestic short-haired tabby. He is 3 to 4 years old, has been declawed and neutered. He is in kennel 26 in the cat room.

Keaton is a 1-year-old male Lynx Point Siamese mix. He has an exceptionally charming personality, and he solicits attention from anyone who's passing by. He's adorable and affectionate, and his adoption fee is $65.

Lucy is a sweet and cute 10-month-old female German shepherd mix. She is attentive and intelligent, and she already knows how to sit on command. She's friendly with people, but she may have some dominant tendencies with other dogs. Lucy's adoption fee is $95.

Besides the dozens of wonderful dogs and cats available for adoption, we almost always have rabbits in need of homes, as well. February is National Adopt a Rescued Rabbit Month, and we're celebrating this month by donating the spay or neuter surgery for all rabbit adoptions and discounting their adoption fee to only $15. This time of year, we often have several to choose from. Come visit cute Keaton, lovely Lucy or a beautiful bunny at Salt Lake County Animal Services, 511 W. 3900 South, or call 269-7499.
