Time to fund autism therapy

If one in 133 Utah children had a serious disease, we would demand that the state of Utah treat every child regardless of his or her ability to pay. However, our state does not adequately fund autism therapy. With early, intensive therapy, 50 percent of these children could function like their typical peers. The others could function at a much higher level. Currently, the schools do not have the funding to make this level of therapy available. It's time to adequately fund autism therapy.
