Helen Mirren, who played the title role in "The Queen," and Forest Whitaker as Ugandan dictator Idi Amin in "Last King of Scotland" on screen, won the British Academy Film Awards for best acting Sunday night in what could turn out to be a dress rehearsal for the Academy Awards.
Both actors are up for Oscars, which will be handed out on Feb. 25.
