Lawmakers' priorities wrong

The Legislature has been like a kicked bee-hive these past days, with its leaders and the governor working feverishly to do wealthy Dave Checketts the favor of building a stadium for his team with our tax monies. I wish a day would come when the governor and legislators would expend this much thought and energy on providing basic health care to all Utahns, especially to all our children. Or that our leaders would make it such a high priority to reduce class sizes in Utah schools. Choices define who we are. It's hard to bear what last week's choices in the Legislature say about us.
