The Ute Indian Tribe on Friday said it has entered into an agreement with Anadarko Petroleum Corp. to provide development on the Uintah-Ouray Reservation.
Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
Anadarko will commit roughly 20 million cubic feet of natural gas per day to the tribe's new Three Rivers gathering pipeline.
Anadarko Petroleum also has agreed to negotiations with the Ute Tribe regarding possible participation in a natural gas plant to be built in the Uinta Basin.
