The IM Flash Technologies project in Lehi has received a "High Honors" designation in the 2006 Business Facilities Economic Development Deal of the Year Awards, presented by Business Facilities magazine.

IM Flash is expecting to begin in the first quarter producing NAND flash memory chips at its facility in Lehi. The chips are used in a variety of consumer electronics, removable storage and handheld communications devices.

The company is expecting to have between 1,850 and 2,000 employees in place by March.
