Salt Lake-based TechniScan Medical Systems Inc. said Monday it has completed a fourth-series preferred financing of $6.4 million.
The company develops ultrasound technology for breast imaging.
The company recently received a $2.8 million Small Business Innovative Research Program grant from the National Cancer Institute/National Institutes of Health.
Privately held TechniScan grew from the University of Utah's Department of Bioengineering.
