BRYCE CANYON The National Park Service is offering a $1,000 reward for information that helps them catch whoever killed a mountain-lion kitten.
Rangers said the cougar was found shot to death on Jan. 19 at Bryce Canyon National Park, near the Mossy Cave parking area. The area is close to the Garfield County town of Tropic.
The Utah Division of Wildlife Resources is also investigating the poaching. Anyone with information is asked to call the DWR's Help Stop Poaching Hotline at 1-800-662-DEER.
