Utah County is out: Major League Soccer team Real Salt Lake rejects the former Geneva Steel site as a stadium site option.

Nothing against Sandy: Salt Lake City Mayor Rocky Anderson says he would support a stadium in Sandy.

Brainstorming: Several legislative bills surface that could be used to direct funding to a soccer stadium, including one that could allow the state to direct county hotel-tax dollars to a Sandy stadium.
