Alison Sheffield has joined the staff of United Way of Salt Lake as events/marketing specialist. She will be responsible for planning events and assisting in marketing projects. Sheffield comes to the United Way from an organization promoting Salt Lake City's downtown area.
Sabinsa Corp. announced that Ed Olson has joined the company as senior vice president of manufacturing. Prior to joining Sabinsa, Olson worked in the sales department of a research and development company. Sabinsa makes herbal extracts, cosmeceuticals, minerals and other chemicals.
The law firm of Parsons Behle & Latimer announced several changes at the firm. Nicole Griffin Farrell has joined the firm's litigation department and concentrates her practice on general commercial litigation. She earned her law degree at the University of Utah. The law firm also named five new shareholders. Vicki M. Baldwin is a member of the litigation and environmental, energy and natural resources departments and concentrates her practice on commercial litigation and energy law. Kimberly Kesler Chytraus is a member of the real estate, banking and finance department and concentrates her practice on the transactional aspects of real property law. John E. Delaney is a member of the litigation department and concentrates his practice on intellectual property litigation, including trade secret, trademark, unfair competition and patent litigation matters. Shane D. Hillman is a member of the litigation department and practices general commercial litigation, including complex contract, environmental, banking, construction and real estate litigation matters. Josh M. Reid is a member of the environmental, energy and natural resources department and concentrates his practice on environmental, land-use and state and local governmental affairs matters.
Jeff Richards has joined the Salt Lake office of CB Richard Ellis. He joins the firm as a partner with the industrial team specializing in the leasing, acquisition and disposition of industrial properties. Richards is a graduate of the U.
