Utahns who can't attend tonight's hearing about the proposed Divine Strake blast can listen to the hearing live on the Internet.
Gov. Jon M. Huntsman Jr. is to make introductory comments at the hearing, scheduled from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Capitol's West Building, Room 135. The session concerns the federal government's proposal to blow up as much as 700 tons of non-nuclear explosive at the Nevada Test Site. Federal officials held public information sessions in St. George and Salt Lake City earlier this month.
People interested in listening can visit the DEQ's Internet site, www.deq.utah.gov and click on the "listen live" link.
