County Mayor Peter Corroon outlines his 5 main goals:

• Economy: Continue workshops and training for small business owners and complete a study on creating a "world-class" technology park within county boundaries.

• Environment: Locate all open space available for future purchase and implement a countywide water-quality stewardship plan to protect the watershed.

• Quality of life: Build new parks, trails, libraries and recreation centers, and vaccinate more than 11,000 children.

• Public safety: Implement non-incarceration programs for inmates with drug and alcohol problems, and maintain local control under a unified police force.
