The Utah "Sure Sites Initiative" will be the topic of Friday's Tech@Breakfast series event, set for 8 a.m. at the Wells Fargo 23rd Floor Event Center.
Sure Sites is a database with information for relocating and expanding businesses. It includes site location opportunities in the state, plus information needed to make real estate decisions.
The Economic Development Corp. of Utah has worked with corporate real estate executives for a year to identify the types of data needed and how to present it. EDCU, along with Rocky Mountain Power and the Governor's Office of Economic Development, created a site analysis tool to expedite the site selection process.
The Tech@Breakfast event is free, but advance registration is requested online at www.goed.utah.gov. More information is available at 538-8820.
