The Private Activity Bond Board has approved $22 million in allocations for three new manufacturing companies.
The board said the projects will add 135 jobs and nearly $5.2 million in total new wages to the state.
The board allocated $10 million for expansion of a Conestoga Wood Specialties Corp. plant in Tooele. The company manufactures finished wood products, including kitchen cabinet doors and fronts for both commercial and residential application. The new plant will create 90 new jobs and a total of $2.9 million in new wages.
U.S. Holdings Inc. received an allocation of $5 million to expand a steel and aluminum access door fabrication manufacturing plant in Weber County that will create 22 new jobs and a total of $1.6 million in new wages.
Pure CO2 will receive $7 million for development of a CO2 well head gathering system and processing plant in Carbon County that will create 23 new jobs and a total of $624,000 in new wages.
