Several thousand fans chanted "Rocky, Rocky" as Sylvester Stallone, 60, walked down a red carpet in London's Leicester Square for the British premiere of "Rocky Balboa" to the film's theme tune.
"The crowd are so great and what is really shocking is that they are so young. I guess 'Rocky' translates to younger generations," said Stallone.
"Rocky Balboa" an MGM Pictures release and Stallone's sixth about the blue-collar Philadelphia boxer is about the aging prizefighter running a restaurant and mourning the death of his wife, Adrian. He is tempted to climb back into the ring one last time when a computer simulation that pits him against a present-day champion shows Rocky would win.
Stallone put in months of training for the role, reportedly suffering a damaged neck and a broken foot.
