Nominations are now being accepted for the fifth annual Utah Innovation Awards.
The awards, presented by the law firm of Stoel Rives and the Utah Technology Council, recognize Utah's best innovations and the companies that created them.
The 2007 Utah Innovation Awards will be given in seven categories: Biotechnology/Pharmaceuticals; Computer Software: Internet-focused and Enterprise Applications; Chemicals/Materials Science; Mechanical Devices; Computer Hardware/Electrical Devices; Medical Devices; Computer Software: Scientific, Educational and Consumer Applications.
Two finalists and one winner will be selected from each category.
The entries are judged by a committee of about 50 people, representing private industry, government and higher education.
