The numbers: It's been a tough year for the Bruins, but things turned brighter with last week's Region 4 upset of American Fork. In the win, Stroshine popped in 19 points and pulled down 10 boards. At a tournament in Arizona she had a career-high 21-point game. For the season, she's averaging nearly 12 points and 12 rebounds per game as well as dishing out three assists. "She really is our most consistent and determined player," coach Laura Romo said.

Jason Chamberlain

Springville Red Devils

Sport: Wrestling

Class: Junior

Division: 140 pounds

The numbers: The two-time state champion has been impressive of late wrestling in feature matches at Utah Valley State College. First, Chamberlain won the All-Star Wrestling Classic by beating three-time state champion Sean Porter of Davis 11-7. He then came back a week later to win the Rocky Mountain Rumble. He's also won tournaments in Layton, Tooele, Wasatch and the prestigious Reno Tournament of Champions. He's 31-0 this year and has a career record of 120-2.
