PROVO The Utah County Health Department will be giving free flu vaccinations today as part of a pandemic influenza exercise.
Anyone who has not yet received the vaccination is qualified to get the flu shot, which the county has in surplus.
The county will dispense the vaccine as a way of practicing how to respond to an emergency situation, such as a widespread pandemic, that might necessitate the administration of vaccines.
Clinics will be dispensing the vaccines from 2 to 6 p.m. today. The clinics are available at the following locations:
Utah County Health and Justice Building, 151 S. University Ave., Provo
American Fork Junior High School, 20 W. 1120 North, American Fork
Orem Senior Friendship Center, 93 N. 400 East, Orem
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Trails Ward meetinghouse, 98 S. Main, Spanish Fork
