For the first time, the Deseret Morning News will feature additional exclusive Sundance Film Festival content in its daily online edition.

Unlike the printed version, which faces limitations of space, deseretnews.com/dn/sun will have no limit to the amount of content it can offer readers about one of the top film festivals in the world.

Content will focus on festival news, film business and human-interest stories, as well as attending celebrities.

Film critic Jeff Vice is heading up the Morning News' Sundance coverage, backed by festival veteran Amelia Nielson-Stowell and staff writer Stephen Speckman.

In addition to their stories in the daily newspaper, these writers will also contribute to the expanded Web coverage with information or stories that can't fit inside the daily paper.

Larry D. Curtis will also generate daily Web-exclusive content for the users of the paper's Web site from Park City and Salt Lake City, and will provide extended coverage of the alternative film festivals that run concurrently with Sundance, including Slamdance, X-Dance, Tromadance, etc.

The Web edition of the Morning News will also feature daily photo galleries from staff photographers Keith Johnson, August Miller, Tom Smart and Mike Terry. As with the written coverage, images available on the Web will not be limited to the space of the printed edition.
