PROVO — A series of 14 lectures presented by the Brigham Young University Museum of Art and the BYU religious education department continues this week.
The next installment in the series is Wednesday from 7-8 p.m. with "The Birth of the Savior," by S. Kent Brown, professor of ancient scripture. Thursday from 7-8 p.m., Dawn C. Pheysey, curator of religious art at the BYU Museum of Art , will discuss "Picturing the 'Word."'
The lectures are in conjunction with the Museum of Art exhibition "Beholding Salvation: Images of Christ." They will be held in the Museum Auditorium.
All lectures are free and open to the public.
