PROVO The Brigham Young University Museum of Art and the BYU Religious Education Department is presenting a series of lectures on Wednesday evenings beginning tonight.
The series begins with an introduction by Campbell B. Gray, director of the BYU Museum of Art, and Terry B. Ball, dean of Religious Education. Other lectures include "The Savior's Pre-mortal Ministry," by Alonzo L. Gaskill, assistant professor of church history and doctrine, in conjunction with the Museum of Art exhibition "Beholding Salvation: Images of Christ."
Each lecture is in the museum auditorium from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. The museum will remain open until 9 p.m. to accommodate the series, said spokesman Christopher Wilson.
Museum docents will be on hand to guide visitors. All lectures are free and open to the public. For further information call 801-422-8287 or visit moa.byu.edu.
