PROVO — A Spanish Fork man was arrested and booked into the Utah County Jail, accused of sexually abusing a 15-year-old girl.

The man, 36, asked the girl to go sledding with him and his children, according to a police report.

Afterward, the girl went to the man's house where he showed her pornographic pictures on his laptop and asked her if she would like to pose for similar pictures, according to the police report.

The girl refused, and the man "playfully" wrestled with the girl before sexually abusing her, according to the police report.

Afterward, he handed her a digital camera and asked her to take pictures of herself nude, the report said.

The young girl told her parents about the incident, and they called Spanish Fork police.

Police then obtained a search warrant to view images on the man's computer, cell phone and digital camera, according to the police report.

When confronted with the allegations, the man admitted he had the picture stored on his iPod and told police the victim had sent him the picture, the police report stated.

The man consented to show officers content on his computer, where he had several child pornographic files, including pictures of the victim before puberty standing in a shower, according to the police report.

Police say the man admitted to taking the pictures himself and then told police he had touched the teen's chest as she slept in a tent at a campout a few years ago.

The man was booked into the Utah County Jail for investigation of forcible sex abuse, sex abuse of a child, dealing harmful material to a minor and sexual exploitation of a minor.
