Sierra Club is a hindrance

The Sierra Club is at it again, ("Coal plants are endangering U.S.," Jan. 8, 2006). They will try anything to get Easterners to send money.

The Sierra Club cheered when President Bill Clinton created the Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument, which cut off access to low sulfur coal. They railed against nuclear power to the point where it costs too much to produce economically. They use the Endangered Species Act, Wilderness Study Areas and high-priced lawyers to close public national forests and BLM land to multiple uses based on misleading or totally false assump- tions.

When will it stop?
