Thoroughly candid, Bushman reveals his fears and frustrations and beats himself up when he thinks he performed badly at the pulpit or during a question-and-answer session. He complains about the difficulty of a "believing Mormon" being convincing to academic historians. He exults in the generosity of his Mormon audiences but still worries that he will disappoint. Well-written and interesting throughout, it deserves wider distribution through commercial publication.
