Utah artists again find work exposed on 'The Apprentice'

Two years ago the TV show, "The Apprentice," needed artwork for their set. After scanning the Internet, they found local artist Carolyn Coalson's work at phillips-gallery.com, the Web site of Salt Lake City's Phillips Gallery.

Now in its fifth year, "The Apprentice" team returned to Phillips Gallery, this time selecting work by several Utah artists including Jean Arnold, Don Athay, Ed Bateman, Ruth Gier, Mary Ellen Hogle, John Roser (of Washington) and, again, Carolyn Coalson.

The artists' work has the possibility of being seen at the conclusion of each show when the contestants gather in their suite to discuss the day's events.

The latest season of "The Apprentice" begins tonight at 8:30 on Ch. 5.
