Capital Lumber Co. has purchased 17 acres of industrial land at 5073 W. 200 South, according to NAI Utah Commercial Real Estate.
Capital is a wholesale distributor of building materials. The Phoenix-based company plans to build a 55,000-square-foot facility at the site.
Capital, now at 1812 S. Empire Road, has 12 regional distribution centers. It hopes to have the new Utah distribution center operational late in 2007.
