The state has announced finalists for the 2007 Utah Work/Life Awards, with the winners to be honored at a celebration in April.
The ninth annual program recognizes companies that are "creating exceptional workplaces and businesses by effectively addressing employee work/life needs."
"Utah businesses have made such tremendous strides in creating flourishing cultures and successful workplace practices," said Lynette Rasmussen, director of the Department of Workforce Services' Office of Work and Family Life, in a prepared statement.
"Every year this award gets harder and harder to win. This year, we have multiple newcomers that made it into the finalist round, and we are excited by the innovative approaches and efforts they are making. The success of Work/Life Award-winning companies shows up in myriad ways, such as improved productivity, retention, recruitment, marketing and customer satisfaction."
