OREM Three life skills classes are being offered by Utah Valley State College's nonprofit continuing education program, Turning Point: Center for Personal and Career Development.
The courses include Successful Life Management, Anger Management and the Marriage Workshop. Classes are held at 987 S. Geneva Road. Scholarships are available to low income students. For more information, please call 801-863-7580.
Successful Life Management teaches a combination of personal and career-development skills such as communication style to resume writing.
Anger Management covers physical and psychological elements of anger, anger triggers, understanding domestic violence and more. With the Marriage Workshop, couples learn to build a strong marriage by working together in specific areas such as conflict, communication and finance.
