Longtime employee named to UVSC post

OREM — Darel Hawkins is the new director of the Center for Student Computing at Utah Valley State College.

Hawkins has worked at UVSC for 14 years. For the past six years he has been the manager of the the school's local area network for the Center for Student Computing.

He also directed the day-to-day operations for the Open Student Computer Labs, which are located all over campus.

Hawkins replaces David Tobler who has accepted a position of the Office of Information Technologies.
