WOMEN'S BASKETBALL: Utah State (3-6) continues its two-game homestand today against Saint Louis (7-5) at 7 p.m. Fans who bring an unwrapped toy for Toys for Tots drive will receive free admission.

BASKETBALL: Despite Dan Stock scoring a season-high 25 points, the Dixie State College Rebels lost a 82-76 battle with Seattle Pacific University on Wednesday. Dixie State's Ryan Sanchez added his second double-double of the year with 10 rebounds and 15 points.
Snow
FOOTBALL: Tonga "Junior" Tea, a first-team All-America defensive tackle at Snow College, plans to play football at Oklahoma State, coach Mike Gundy said Wednesday. Tea, a 6-foot, 310-pounder from Anchorage, Alaska, plans to join Oklahoma State's team in January and will participate in spring practices, Gundy said.
Big Sky
CABLE TV DEAL: The Big Sky Conference has reached a deal with The America Channel to broadcast at least 27 women's athletic events beginning in 2007-2008. The contract is primarily for women's basketball but the channel will also show soccer, volleyball and tennis matches.
"We're very excited to enter this agreement with the America Channel," Big Sky Commissioner Doug Fullerton said in a statement Wednesday. "This venture will bring more national exposure to our women's sports, as well as all of institutions and student athletes."

BASKETBALL: Southern Utah's men's basketball team plays its final game before Christmas Friday when the Thunderbirds visit Utah Valley State for a rematch of a game played in Cedar City, Nov. 29. The Thunderbirds (8-4) have won five of their last seven, including a 68-60 win over Utah Valley State, Nov. 29, but lost a heart-breaker at Weber State Tuesday night as they went without a basket in the final five minutes to give up a six-point lead and eventually fall to the Wildcats, 59-57.
