CEDAR CITY An Indiana man has been arrested in connection with a case of sexual abuse against two siblings.
Police said the alleged abuse happened a couple of years ago, but one of the victims just recently came forward and disclosed it. Making the case more difficult for police is the fact that both the suspect and the victims no longer live in the area.
"The family lived in here in Cedar City when it happened," Cedar City Police Sgt. Jerry Womack said Thursday. "Nobody lives here anymore."
The 18-year-old suspect was referred to juvenile court on eight counts of investigation of sexual abuse of a child, a second-degree felony and sodomy upon a child, a first-degree felony.
