ST. GEORGE A pastor accused of sexually abusing an 11-year-old student at a Christian school where he was a teacher will stand trial next month.
A judge in St. George's 5th District Court scheduled a four-day jury trial for Gabriel Carlin, beginning Jan. 22.
Carlin, 32, has pleaded not guilty to four counts of aggravated sex abuse of a child, a first-degree felony. St. George police said Carlin taught at the East Harbor Christian Academy, where the victim attended school. He is accused of molesting the girl, who reported the alleged abuse to her parents and police earlier this year.
