WHAT THEY DID: Cougar coaches and players visited with patients at the Sunrise Children's Hospital in the morning, prior to another practice at Valley High School. In the afternoon, the team took part in two service projects set up by the BYU football program. Selected players and coaches visited the Boys & Girls Club of Henderson, where they helped build gingerbread houses with the children there. Others went to the Center for Independent Living in Las Vegas to do some remodeling work. In the evening, the Cougars went to the Outback Buffet Bowl, then attended the pep rally at the Fremont Street Experience.

WHAT THEY SAID: "It's hard to pause and reflect on it with a game coming up so I chose not to make a big deal about it for the seniors' last practice because there's a significant step this group can still reach. By doing anything else other than focusing on the game wouldn't give them the best chance to go out in what has already been a fantastic season with one more chance to move the program forward." — BYU coach Bronco Mendenhall on his seniors' final full practice.

WHAT'S NEXT: Mendenhall and team captains Cameron Jensen and John Beck will participate in the Kickoff Media Conference at the Las Vegas Convention Center in the morning, followed by the Kickoff Luncheon. The Cougars will hold a closed practice at Sam Boyd Stadium in the afternoon.
