PROVO MyFamily.com Inc. announced today that it is changing its name to The Generations Network Inc., effective immediately.
The company offers a network of family history Web sites including Ancestry.com, Ancestry.co.uk, Rootsweb.com and Genealogy.com as well as an online family tree. Ancestry.ca, Ancestry.com.au and Ancestry.de recently were launched to extend the company's presence into Canada, Australia and Germany. It also offers family tree software and publishes Ancestry Magazine and more than 50 book and CD-ROM titles.
MyFamily.com, online since 1998 as a place for families to connect and share photos and news, is being overhauled and relaunched in early 2007, the company said.
