After a week of studying for finals, the Utah Valley State men's basketball team returns to the court for a road game at Montana State (2-8) today. Tip-off is 7 p.m. and the game can be heard live on 1400AM.
This is the third meeting between the two schools. The Wolverines hold a 2-1 series lead, with the latest game being a 69-37 season-opening victory in Orem on Nov. 10.
"It is always unpredictable coming off finals week," Utah Valley State coach Dick Hunsaker said. "Montana State is a much improved team. I'm sure they have long memories of the opening night game in Orem. They are getting back to full strength."
Montana State is led by the play of Nick Dissly's 12.4 points a game, while Carlos Taylor is averaging 10.4 points. Dissly scored only five points at Orem and Taylor didn't play. Montana State's wins have come against Montana-Western and Idaho.
Utah Valley State (5-4) is coming off a 69-65 home loss to Utah State on Saturday.
