Boozer — after making just 4 of 17 shots in Utah's loss Friday at Minnesota — came back for 13-for-25 shooting and 31 points with 11 boards against the Mavs, with DeSagana Diop, Erick Dampier and DJ Mbenga playing against him.

"We had a good practice the other day, guys came back ready to roll. I know I did," Boozer said. "I was focused for tonight. My teammates were the same way."

"Fortunately," said Sloan, "he just kept playing through it (at Minnesota), and it didn't bother him for tonight. He played hard. He was very intense trying to get himself open. I thought he used people's screens, and people screened for him pretty well."

Sloan said the Jazz simply tried to get the ball inside to Boozer "right off the bat," often on back-to-back plays, "and he had success, and we kept doing it. Guys set some pretty good screens for him. I thought that was important."
