UVSC's proposed mission statement

"Utah Valley State College provides innovative education by fostering professional, global, ethical and academic engagement. As a distinctive teaching institution dedicated to student learning and collaborative scholarly work, UVSC prepares students for meaningful lifework by offering associate, baccalaureate and master degree programs."

The mission statement UVSC has used since 1998 is quite long.
