Orem man accused of molesting 3 boys

PROVO — An Orem man is in jail after he allegedly sexually abused three young boys.

The man, 39, allegedly showed a 10-year old boy pornographic pictures and performed sexual acts in front of the child, according to a police report filed in 4th District Court.

The child also told his mother, who later told police, that the man, who had been a family friend, fondled him, according to the report.

The report said two boys, ages 11 and 13, who lived in the man's neighborhood also told police the man would perform sex acts in front of them.

The man was arrested for investigation of aggravated sexual abuse of a child and lewdness with a child and is being held on $10,000 cash-only bail. He will appear in court on Dec. 8.
